If America was a car, and health care was a flat right-front tire…

…The Republicans would drive on the flat (shredding the tire), and the Democrats would remove the tire and pile bags of sand in the rear-left corner (to keep the weight off the wheel-less axle).

Neither party has any interest in actually CHANGING the tire. There is, however, a sizable group of spectators standing on the curb, wildly cheering each flawed approach, and punching anyone who disagrees with them.
