“We need a program of psychosurgery for political control of our society. The purpose is physical control of the mind. Everyone who deviates from the given norm can be surgically mutilated.
–1974 Congressional Testimony of Dr. Jose Delgado

“The individual may think that the most important reality is his own existence, but this is only his personal point of view. This lacks historical perspective. Man does not have the right to develop his own mind. This kind of liberal orientation has great appeal. We must electronically control the brain. Someday armies and generals will be controlled by electric stimulation of the brain.”
–Dr. Jose Delgado, Director of Neuropsychiatry Yale University Medical School Congressional Record, No. 26, Vol. 118 February 24, 1974

Am I the only one?

Lately I have been thinking about crowds and how vulnerable people are in crowds. I see crowds everywhere. In the morning, to avoid tardies, I place my son in a crowd where students stand in one general area, in an environment where someone can take pot-shots at them from a myriad of hiding places in the environment.
Am I the only one who thinks about these things?

I’m not endorsing it, yet, it’s still a work in progress.

But I like the concept.

“I realized that there is a part of covering Congress, if you’re doing daily coverage, that is actually sort of colluding with the politicians themselves because so much of what I was doing was actually recording and playing what they say or repeating what they say.

We need to stop coddling lawmakers, stop buying their red team, blue team narrative and ask harder questions of them.”

Dr. Ron Paul admits it: Mitt rMoney is a Dickhead

Mr. Paul, in an interview, said convention planners had offered him an opportunity to speak under two conditions: that he deliver remarks vetted by the Romney campaign, and that he give a full-fledged endorsement of Mr. Romney. He declined.

It wouldn’t be my speech,” Mr. Paul said. “That would undo everything I’ve done in the last 30 years. I don’t fully endorse him for president.
