DNC, Labour, Podemos, etc.:
this might be how he would have wrote about it. Updated with more.
Ailes going down?
He was a kingmaker, a man who manipulated the lesser lights into voting for execrable candidates, the man behind faux.
Not surprisingly, sexual allegations are behind his forseeable ousting. For the rw, if it isn’t outright hypocrisy on moral values, it’s Alzheimers that does it (see Thatcher, Raygun, etc.).
Major schadenfreude moment, but knowing the cogdis brigade, there will be nary a ripple on the republican waters. The cogdis brigade are batshit crazy, as we all know. Hell, they’re embracing Trump, for suck’s fake.
FYI, and I mean it even if I sound like a former expat poster – if Trump is elected I swear that I will forgo my US citizenship. Ailes was a major symptom of the US’s problem (is he the US’ Boris Johnson?), but the spanish have a saying – you can’t juice a turnip. If the US elecorate – already stupid enough to swallow Ailes, Newt, Faux, Ollie, Nixon, Dubya, Rummie, Wolfie, and a very long etcetera of other malicious liars… including the Clintons FWIW, why the fuck would I want to be associated with such arses?
But I mean it. I will give up on the US of A, because I can. And it makes me very sad, but I’ll do it.
This Guy Trains Computers to Find Future Criminals
Richard Berk says his algorithms take the bias out of criminal justice. But could they make it worse?
The FBI may have backed off its attempts to strong-arm Apple into building a backdoor to the iPhone, but the fight over crypto is far from over. The ENCRYPT Act and the Secure Data Act are federal bills that will safeguard encryption and reject backdoors. Tell your representatives in Congress to co-sponsor these vital bills.
Certain outspoken members of the FBI and Department of Justice, and a few state legislators are attacking the encryption standards that undergird modern technology, trying to force companies to insert backdoors and defeat their own security systems.
These actions are reckless and could hurt the security of everyone. Thankfully, there are leaders in Congress working to stop these misguided actions with forward-thinking legislation. Help defend security by sending a letter to your member of Congress today.
As security experts worldwide have repeatedly said: there’s no such thing as a backdoor that only the good guys can use.
I think that Russian “intelligence” won’t be much of a threat in the future.
I wonder how many “likes” these folk got on Mybook or Facespace. Bunch of Twitsers!
OK, so it was full of violent hooligans. But this is beautiful – a portuguese fan consoling a frenchman.
Can you do this? 🙂
