Hi
I was wondering if you can still farm around the towers? Is there other concerns you have now that they have been installed that you can write about?VN:F [1.9.22_1171]-

I ‘d be interested in this, as well. I can’t think of a reason why you couldn’t farm around a wind tower, but what do I know?

1finger typing.
Yes, u can farm around them. Some research says towers create a more arid environment. But recent research says they should be placed further apart to harness optimum wind.
We don’t have the towers. The property is leased in the event that they decide to place a turbine farm there. Leased to goldman sacs then later lease sold to some Portuguese company. Don’t no where the contract will go next. You know how investment firms juggle their digital contracts!

Sorry, but every time you post about “one finger” I can’t help but think of “the bird”.

Pee Ess
At the moment I’ll be posting on week nights using a crappy netbook with lousy screen resolution and a way-too-sensitive touch pad. I expect this could decrease my posting frequency even further. I will likely rectify this within a month, but need more information.

Lol. I thought the title was attn-getting.
Still sitting on the isthmus. It snows. Mad city is not like they generally are bout snow removal this year. Usually they really rock when it comes to snow. Must be cutting costs. Barely driving the BMW around in this. Really isn’t so bad out now tho. Can’t seem to leave my boys. Thinking of just renting the house and moving here. Just considering it. What to do with the bananas?!

After years of blogging (going back to before the Bush v Gore debacle) my perspective has changed. A lot.
I’d say “fuck the bananas and do what’s right for you”, but I can’t say (for sure) I wouldn’t have said that 8 or 10 years ago.
The past year of living on unemployment (that I paid for) has taught me that I really don’t need much. Getting a job that requires a second apartment has taught me that I have a lot of shit I don’t need, and two of more things than I care to count.
Seriously, “if it feels good, do it” seems like the right thing to say.
As human beings we need a place to sleep, a place to shower, and a place to prepare food. Other than that, EVERYTHING is “icing on the cake”.
Which is not, in any way, intended to convey the attitude that we don’t need friends, family, and companionship.
So seriously, let the bananas die, unless they’re more important than “the boys”.
One final thought, as “GOP” as it may be. Don’t count on anyone else to do what’s best for you. In the end, YOU decide, and do what you think is best. And you will continue to make mistakes.
BTW, I don’t REALLY want to live in Alexandria, VA, for 5 nights a week. I keep telling myself that I’ll be really happy I did it in 2 years. But I don’t KNOW that.
And if I have to make another “adjustment” in 2 years. I’ll make that adjustment. Hell, I’ll make it tomorrow, if it feels right.
I’m lucky, that way.

I wanted to place this somewhere.
I don’t do mammograms anymore, thinking that radiation to the greater vessels of the heart cause microburns leading to bacterial-tainted plaque build-up. Finally, someone else agrees with me.Chest Irradiation May Increase Long-Term Heart Risks
By Genevra Pittman
NEW YORK (Reuters Health) Jan 21 – Women treated for breast cancer with radiation therapy are more likely to die from heart disease 20 years or more down the line than women who don’t get radiation, according to a new study.
Previous studies have suggested that radiation close to the heart can increase a woman’s risk of getting heart or blood vessel-related disease in the future – but little is known about how that risk plays out over multiple decades. The results are from women who received radiation in the 1980′s and earlier, when doses of radiation were significantly higher than those used today.
Radiation “is a very important part of therapy for many women,” Dr. Ronald Witteles, who studies heart disease at Stanford University and wrote an editorial accompanying the current study, told Reuters Health.
However, “we need to honestly look at the risks and take them into account when making treatment decisions,” he said.
