And from that same era, something I cannot get out of my head today:
My aunt was 15 years younger than my mom, so she was in-between Mom and us girls. I remember dancing around my grandparents’ house to this song with my aunt, who had empty grape juice cans in her hair, to a LP of Paul Revere and The Raiders. Aunt just lost her daughter to cancer. Her daughter was around 15 years younger than me. Very sad times lately.
