Monsanto buys leading bee research firm after being implicated in bee colony collapse

(NaturalNews) Amid all the controversy over genetically-modified (GM) crops and their pesticides and herbicides decimating bee populations all around the world, biotechnology behemoth Monsanto has decided to buy out one of the major international firms devoted to studying and protecting bees. According to a company announcement, Beeologics handed over the reins to Monsanto back on September 28, 2011, which means the gene-manipulating giant will now be able to control the flow of information and products coming from Beeologics for colony collapse disorder (CCD).

That’s one way to censor the news. The follow up story will be the company was closed do a lack of interest by the new owners and all employees are free to go away. I think I read were Delaware gov. gave in to them also.

On another note had my first radish from the Greenhouse it was so spicy it was hot. Loved it.
Then my neighbor just brought by 10lbs of fresh asparagus from his field.

I had seen this. IMO, Monsanto is one of the most evil corps on the planet. I’ve heard of them successfully suing farmers in neighboring land who’s crops showed signs of their patented genes, even though the farmers had never planted their seeds. It was due to the wind and cross-pollination. They bankrupted them and shut them down.

Roundup ready sounded like a really good idea when I first heard of it. Plant some seeds, spray Roundup to kill all the weeds, and harvest. Now I see it as evil personified. Monsanto is trying to capitalize and exert TOTAL control over the food supply of an agrarian society. It really doesn’t hit more close to home than that.

They are a monopoly! That monopoly should be totally dissimilated.

And farmers should group together to stop buying their products.

“Roundup ready sounded like a really good idea when I first heard of it.”

So did nukes. So did Obama.

Ideology is the key. We need to have parties with a vision, an idea for the future, not just politicos that key onto some issues and some values in order to get elected. As long as “our” side relies on such bull, the other side (with an agenda and backer to achieve it) will prevail.

60 years of politics show me that I am right. Stevenson was our last chance, and the distinguished tailgunner senator from Wisonsin killed it, even if the military rebelled against him.

We have to wake the fuck up and forget the “issue based” politics that divert attention from what really matters.

Obama vs Romney? Twiddly do vs Twiddle dee. Same shit, different rhetoric – and between these particular two, the difference is less than any other pairing I’ve seen since…. gawd, I’m hard pressed to see two candidates with less differences throughout American history. Seriously.

You know what. rationalizing a decision isn’t any better than using gut instincts. Politicians lie. Obama lied. My gut instinct was to NOT vote for him. I wanted to vote for Cynthia McKinney or Hillary.

I am writing in Ron Paul.

regardless. Monstanto needs to be taken down. There has to be a way. Even if it is to come at them from the inside.

IMNSHO, bringing frothing at the mouth negative screeds about Obama, unsupported by any facts, into a comment thread that has nothing to do with him says more about the poster than it does anything else. Being so blinded by a destructive obsession that you can’t allow anyone to have a conversation about anything else is, much like throwing rocks through store windows during a peaceful march, if not unhinged, at least approaching it.

Not “bannable” by any stretch of the imagination, but on a board where everyone has the privilege of posting, to the front page, anything (legal) you want to post about, I’d suggest that you reflect on how it makes YOU look, because it’s unlikely you’re changing minds about anything but you.

My apologies to Jo for the rudeness that’s been shown to him. We used to be better/more rational than this.
