WATCH: Paul Krugman on Jack Lew

With Bill Moyers, Paul Krugman discusses President Obama’s choice for Treasury Secretary, Jack Lew, as well as his reaction to public support for seeing Krugman himself in that job.

“The Secretary of the Treasury is not now going to be somebody who does deep thinking about the economy. There are people the president can call on for that, including outside economists, including Joe Stiglitz… including myself,” Krugman tells Bill.

“What the president needs right now is a hard-nosed negotiator. And rumor has it that’s what he’s got.”

Where was Krugman with it came to the housing bubble? Absent.
What difference does it make who is taking that position when it is the banks that are bringing this country down with their high crimes, while no one, NO ONE, is prosecuting them? Out with Holder! Down with Brewer. I don’t mind of Obama steps down either. But why would he? He makes such a nice puppet.

It is wise to make sure your money is not stored in banks at this point in time. I have even thought of putting a chunk of it in Latin American currency. They had their crashes already and are on their way up.
