Who Are "The Powers That Be"?
 

We’ve all heard the expression “the powers that be” but are there really “powers” who control things or is it just a euphemism for fate? Consider this statement:

"We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time Magazine, and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But, the work is now much more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries."

We were warned...almost.

This is not another conspiracy theory, although a conspiracy has been taking place for over 100 years to bring about what we now know as “The New World Order”, a phrase first introduced publicly to the American people by President George H. W. Bush in a speech in 1990.

The Rockefeller money came from patriarch John D. who made his money from Standard Oil. His son David was an officer of Chase Manhattan Bank from 1946-1981 and Chairman and CEO from 1968-1980. Since his retirement in 1981, he has been Chairman of the bank’s International Advisory Committee. He was one of the founders of the Downtown-Lower Manhattan Development Association that conceived of the World Trade Center.

As a side note, David Rockefeller received his PhD from the University of Chicago in 1941. Leo Strauss, the German immigrant who brought Neo-conservatism back into fashion, began teaching his political philosophy there in 1938.

There are three worldwide organizations who have controlled most of the events of history in the last century, the Trilateral Commission, the Council on Foreign Relations and the Bilderburg Group. These are the “King Makers.” Anyone who aspires to higher political office in the United States would first have to be invited to membership in at least one of these organizations.

Among the members of the Trilateral Commission are international financiers, media owners, politicians, industrialists, military, members of intelligence communities, educators, union leaders and other ruling elite. It is an alliance of North America, Western Europe and Japan to make sure political leaders are chosen who will protect the global financial interests of its members.

The Bilderburg Group, also funded by the Rockefellers, is an older group and is made up of members from the nations in the NATO alliance. The several hundred power brokers in these groups decide on world policy that best serves Western capitalism and their interests. They control the world’s economy.

The oldest of the three groups is the Council on Foreign Relations which has been controlling world public opinion for the last century leading up to one world government. It is not affiliated with any one political party. Presidents Ford, Carter, Bush Sr. and Clinton are all Council members.

The Council on Foreign Relations or CFR grew out of a secret society formed by Cecil Rhodes. It develops PSYOPS or psychological operations designed to offer information or disinformation to the public which will shape their thinking to coincide with world government agendas. In other words it is a propaganda machine.

While these organizations hold secret meetings so the members can feel comfortable speaking freely, it is possible to obtain at least partial past membership lists. To show how pervasive the influence of these groups is in our government, there were over 100 members of the CFR in the Clinton administration. Clinton, himself is a member of all three groups. The Democratic candidates in the coming 2004 election who are members of the CFR are Gephardt, Clark, Lieberman, Rangel and although no longer a candidate, Graham. The variety in the membership ranges from Donald Keough, a CEO of Coca-Cola to Joan Ganz Cooney of the Children’s Television Network (Sesame Street). One must wonder what psychological propaganda is aimed at our pre-school children. Other members of the CFR can be checked at this website.

After you’ve looked at the names of the people who are controlling what happens in our country and in your life, the people who are shaping and deciding our future without any input from us, you’ll know who “the powers that be” are and you’ll know that the keyword really is POWER.
